WCE's League City, Texas Chapter Local Leader, Taylor Norton of Makenzie Layne Boutique
A little about Taylor:
"Hello, my name is Taylor Norton and I am the owner of MaKenzie Layne Boutique. We are a western inspired boutique that seeks to offer great customer service and help women feel their absolute best! We started as an online boutique in the fall of 2020 and quickly began traveling to local markets. I left my corporate job and dove into entrepreneurship full time in August of 2021. Our storefront in League City followed shortly after that and this has allowed us to expand our inventory to now include decor and children’s.
Beyond our business expanding, having the storefront has presented many opportunities to connect and flourish relationships with other entrepreneurs. I first became involved with small business in 2016 and with a background in retail management, I truly value and respect the importance of networking. I am so excited to be the leader for League City and look forward to strengthening relationships with other like minded business women!
When I am not shoulders deep in my business, I am spending time with my husband (AKA, my biggest cheerleader and supporter) and our two dogs. My free time is usually spent curled up with a good book, catching the latest episode of Law and Order: SVU, or out on the dance floor two stepping with my husband."
WCE's League City, Texas Chapter Local Leader, Stacey Ramirez of Artistic Signs
A little about Stacey:
"Hi! My name is Stacey Ramirez and you can find me everyday at Artistic Signs in League City! After working in the healthcare industry for 10 years as physician liaison and business development coordinator, I left and started my own marketing company. Quickly after venturing on my own I accepted the role and am slated to take over the family business Artistic Signs.
We offer custom made t-shirts, apparel, signs and promotional items for personal and corporate use. Whether it's making t-shirts for a small girls weekend get-a-way or a large corporate office needing signage for a new construction build, we do it all! Stop by and chat with us, we'd love to meet you. While you visit, take the opportunity to browse The Shop, our custom apparel made in house. Get lost browsing through items handmade by local artisans.
When I attended my first WCE meeting I felt like I found my tribe. A group of women, supporting other like minded women. Each, showing up not only to share their own awesome business but to help other women network, group together sharing thoughts and ideas. The courses I took while attending graduate classes for my MBA are the exact topics we share here at WCE. I consider this group a golden nugget find. Glad to be part of the team and Leader for our League City chapter! Come grow with us!"
