MEET THE Tomball, TEXAS LOCAL LEADERs ~ Rainey Durand of Bee ORganized Houston NOrth, Fosca Piomelli of visioning solutions, & kRISTY CHENEY OF Sunflower Counseling Center |
"Hi, my name is Rainey Durand and I am the owner of Bee Organized Houston North, a professional home organizing company. We work with individuals and families to create customized and sustainable organizing solutions from the attic to the basement and everywhere in between. We approach every job with Compassion, Confidentiality and Free of Judgment. I find it an HONOR to help people experience increased joy, peace and productivity through BEEing Organized. I have lived in the Houston area since 2001 but my roots are in Louisiana. When I'm not organizing, I enjoy glamping with my husband and three daughters, ages 18, 14 and 10 as well as our two Malti-poos. We are big LSU Tiger fans...GEAUX Tigers! I also love reading, home decor, vacation planning and being outdoors." |
A little about Kristy:
Kristy Cheney is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She is the owner and sole therapist at Sunflower Counseling Center in Tomball. Kristy enjoys working with kids, teens, and adults who are seeking to manage the impacts of anxiety, ADHD, and/or trauma in their lives. Kristy understands the unique parenting challenges of kids with anxiety and ADHD and offers parent coaching for caregivers who desire to have more peace in their homes.
Before opening Sunflower, Kristy worked at a residential facility for teen girls and two different group practices. Going out on her own, Kristy realized that creating meaningful relationships with other mental health professionals was going to be necessary and began a networking group in Tomball/Cypress for this purpose. Kristy was recently called a "connector" by a colleague for being able to connect professionals to other professionals or organizations who meet an expressed need. Kristy enjoys supporting other therapists who are seeking to open their own practices.
Owning a small private practice allows Kristy to speak with community groups about topics such as self-harm, grief, parenting while healing childhood wounds, and forgiveness. Kristy enjoys cheering on her four boys as they play sports throughout the year. Kristy also enjoys reading, working in the yard, and meeting with friends for good food and good conversation.
