Hey Cupcake! I’m Shyesha Cloud, the creative force behind Mmm’Met Cakes, where I turn life’s sweetest moments into custom, mouthwatering desserts. With over 8 years of experience, my cakes are more than just treats—they’re the centerpiece of every celebration, from birthdays to weddings and everything in between. I pour creativity and heart into every cake, ensuring each one is as unique as the celebration it’s made for.

Originally from sunny San Diego, I made my way to Texas, earning a Business Management degree from Texas Southern University. After eleven years as an educator, I decided it was time to pursue my passion full-time, growing Mmm’Met Cakes from a farmers market booth into a festival favorite. As a wife, entrepreneur, and baker, I’ve learned how to balance love, family, and creativity in everything I do. And I’m all about fun and a good time, which shows in every cake I create!

There’s nothing better than seeing the smiles my cakes bring to life’s sweetest moments. Through Mmm’Met Cakes, I’m not just baking; I’m building community and creating memories, one delicious slice at a time.

I’m also a big fan of travel, and just like my adventures, my business journey is far from over. I’m expanding Mmm’Met Cakes into a full celebration hub—where cake, community, and creativity collide. Yep, Metty Made It—and I’m just getting started!

Yasmin Maldonado is the proud owner of Hailey’s Italian Restaurant—a beloved local gem since 2018, nestled in the heart of Cypress, Texas. With years of hands-on experience overseeing and cultivating the success of Hailey’s, Yasmin knows firsthand the dedication, grit, and faith it takes to turn a dream into a thriving business.

As the Cypress Chapter Leader for the Women’s Council of Entrepreneurs, Yasmin is passionate about helping other women grow and flourish in their businesses. She believes in the power of community, encouragement, and practical support—because she’s lived it. Her mission is to contribute to WCE’s vision where women feel seen, supported, and equipped to take bold steps forward in their entrepreneurial journey.

Outside of business, Yasmin is deeply committed to her faith. She loves volunteering and supporting her local church, where she finds strength and purpose. She also treasures slow mornings over coffee with her husband, finds joy in getting lost in a good book, and loves to travel with her family to recharge and gain fresh inspiration. These moments fuel her creativity, leadership, and her heart to serve others.
