A little about Sarah:
Sarah McDonner is the co-owner of Colorado Fairy Hair LLC located in the Denver Metro Area of Colorado alongside founder and co-owner, Fairy Rhonda Nimerichter. Colorado Fairy Hair is a beauty and entertainment services company providing high quality magical silken hair extensions that sparkle and shine. Clients are able to book fairy hair appointments at our pop-up events and private home studio appointments throughout the Denver Metro Area and as far south as Colorado Springs.
Sarah is originally from Houston, TX where she grew up most of her formative years in school and she has a passion for everything creative and entrepreneurial. She received her Bachelor of Music from Denison University in 2008 and a Masters of Music in Flute Performance from Ithaca College in 2010. Sarah then moved back to Houston where she founded a product company, BYE-YOU BUG, with her husband from 2013-2021. BYE-YOU BUG is an all-natural bug spray sold in HEB, Central Market, and Amazon. In 2014 Sarah founded ECHO Orchestra, a non-profit arts organization, located in Houston, TX and she was the Executive Director from 2014-2025. ECHO is still in existence today under new direction.
In April 2025 Sarah and her family moved to Aurora, CO and she joined Colorado Fairy Hair as a subcontractor. As of January 2026 Sarah is now co-owner of Colorado Fairy Hair. She is looking forward to working alongside Fairy Rhonda and helping to expand the business. Sarah also has a vintage resale booth at Park Hill Treasures, acts as the Denver Ambassador for Wild Tunes, a non--profit that helps to soothe shelter animals with live music, and being a mommy and a wife. Sarah looks forward to being a local leader for a Denver Chapter and helping to build some new business relationships with other women owned businesses!
